Certified Financial Planners Now Get Continuing Education Credit for ChFEBC

The Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc. has recently accepted the Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultants℠ (ChFEBC℠) course for continuing education credits for the CFP® certification.

CFP® Certificate holders must complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years, according to the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc website.

CFP® Certificants get 10 continuing education credits (CEs) for taking the "live" (2-day) ChFEBC℠ seminar, or 10 CEs for the independent study ChFEBC℠ course.       

CFP® Certificants get 1 continuting education credits (CEs) for taking the yearly renewal.
